Peak-A-Boo at Alia Bhatt’s New Home
No matter what we do in our professional lives, there can be no bliss like coming back to aq warm and welcoming home. Occupations of actors are time and energy-consuming and hence they have to make sure that their houses stay organised to save on the resources. Today this blog will talk about the glittery life of Alia Bhatt in her new white and tranquil home.
Alia was previously living with her parents – Soni Razadan and Mahesh Bhatt as well as sister Shaheen Bhatt. She had previously purchased 2 houses as investments, but this 3rd Juhu house was bought so that she and her sister could start A new journey together. Though the place is near her parents’ but Alia has mentioned that living alone still comes with a lot of responsibility.
Let’s read on to know which features make the house a buzz and what qualities we can adopt at our abodes too.
While the actress Alia Bhatt’s life is all about lights, camera, action, and the glitter, her Mumbai home is quite the opposite—a tranquil, cosy, inviting nest that is filled with warm colours and heartfelt objects.
Take a tour of Alia Bhatt’s Mumbai apartment.
- The right feel of the place
The place has been designed by Richa Bahl whom she met at the sets of Shaandaar. When Bahl visited the apartment for the first time, the place was in rotten and ruined state. This looked like a challenge to her as designing is all about making a house a home with decor and love. The place has a great location and vibe which could not be sacrificed. She was sure that the feels were perfect for the two young, first-time homeowners, who could then add and subtract things as they went along.
- The New York loft look
When we see a Bollywood movie, we see lavish houses which have much pomp-show-glamour annexed. For instance, you might have seen the luxurious home in Kabhi Khusi Kabhi Gham. When you see films from the Hollywood, the richer the family is, the more subtle the aesthetics of the house are. Alia has chosen the same look and has kept the house relatively minimal and crisp when it comes to things and bling.
Phantom Films office, designed by Richa Bahl, is the piece of work which made Alia sure about going with this interior designer. The place breathes her and her sister’s personality of easy-going, and relaxed demure. It helped, perhaps, that Alia’s grandfather is an architect, and her mother, a self-taught interior designer—obviously she’s inherited more than just her mother’s cheekbones.
The home has a tranquil feel which you can experience in villas of Goa.
- Home to the most distinguished articles
The renovation took around a year and a half, and space’s four bedrooms were reconfigured to three which have fresh, unique and comfort friendly furnishing articles. The furniture has been bought form few best names in the international industry. Few of the things include — Custom bench at the entrance from The Raj Company; a white sofa and cushioned bench in the living room from Roche Bobois; the chandelier and pendant lights by the Savoy House, Spain, from Cerco Lighting; the leather single-seater from Marina Home Interiors, Dubai, and the wall and floor tiles from C Tribhovandas & Co. The modular kitchen designed by Bahl has cabinets by Spar Arreda, Italy, and, custom-made wooden racks and kitchen accessories are from Crate and Barrel and Ikea.
- The exclusive dressing area
A big star like her has an entire team dedicated to complete her looks, and the team involves.. let’s say.. a lot of people. She is not the only one living in the house and hence does not want to put her Shaheen’s privacy in jeopardy. Therefore, the lobby separates the dressing room from the large living room, to ensure the rest of the house is private, even if the actress is amidst fittings.
- The Homely Feel
White serene walls, Cozy couches, concrete-tiled floors and large windows looking at Mumbai’s tropical trees, make sure that the place stays a relaxing hub where there is just love and luxury just like any other regular family would expect.
A home is just a house without warm cups of tea – And Bhatt sisters take this seriously. The house, therefore, has a dedicated “tea bar”, because apparently, they’re both “really into tea.
